As a Vehicle Service Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our fleet of rental vehicles are clean, well-maintained, and ready for our customers to enjoy.   1. Clean and maintain rental vehicles in accordance with company standards and procedures.
  2. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
  3. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as checking and topping off fluids, changing tires, and replacing light bulbs.
  4. Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient vehicle turnover.
  5. Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  6. Uphold company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and vehicle handling guidelines.
  7. Monitor and report any vehicle damages or malfunctions to management.
  8. Collaborate with the sales team to assist with customer pick-up and drop-off processes.
  9. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the rental lot and service areas.
  10. Participate in training and development opportunities to improve skills and knowledge.
  11. Follow all company and industry safety regulations.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to enhance job performance.
  13. Work collaboratively with a diverse team to achieve common goals.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Vehicle Maintenance: Vehicle Service Attendants At Hertz Car Rental Must Have A Good Understanding Of Basic Vehicle Maintenance And Be Able To Perform Tasks Such As Checking Fluid Levels, Changing Tires, And Performing Routine Inspections.

  • Customer Service Skills: A Key Aspect Of The Vehicle Service Attendant Role At Hertz Is Providing Excellent Customer Service. This Includes Greeting Customers, Assisting With Luggage, And Answering Any Questions Or Concerns They May Have.

  • Physical Fitness: This Job Requires Frequent Lifting And Moving Of Vehicles And Equipment, So Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Perform These Tasks Safely And Efficiently.

  • Attention To Detail: Vehicle Service Attendants Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure That Each Vehicle Is Cleaned And Maintained To The Highest Standards. This Includes Checking For Any Damage Or Issues And Reporting Them To Management.

  • Valid Driver's License: A Valid Driver's License Is A Must For This Role, As Vehicle Service Attendants Are Responsible For Driving Vehicles To And From The Service Area, As Well As To And From Customer Pick-Up And Drop-Off Locations.
