Vehicle Service Attendant
Welcome to the team at Hertz Car Rental! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join us as a Vehicle Service Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring our vehicles are clean and well-maintained for our valued customers. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has a positive attitude, and is a team player. Prior experience in the automotive industry is preferred but not required. - Clean and maintain vehicles to ensure they are ready for customer use
- Conduct routine inspections and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning products in a safe and efficient manner
- Follow company policies and procedures for vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their rental needs
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while interacting with customers and colleagues
- Communicate effectively with management regarding any issues or concerns related to vehicle maintenance or customer satisfaction
- Keep track of inventory and report any shortages or damages to management
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Continuously strive to improve and learn about new products, services, and procedures within the company.
Knowledge Of Vehicle Maintenance And Cleaning Procedures: A Vehicle Service Attendant At Hertz Car Rental Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of How To Properly Maintain And Clean Vehicles To Ensure They Are In Top Condition For Customers.
Ability To Operate Cleaning Equipment: This Role Requires The Use Of Various Cleaning Equipment Such As Vacuums, Pressure Washers, And Buffers. The Ideal Candidate Should Be Able To Use These Tools Safely And Effectively.
Excellent Customer Service Skills: Vehicle Service Attendants Are Often The First Point Of Contact For Customers, So They Should Have Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills To Provide A Positive Experience For Customers.
Attention To Detail: To Ensure That Vehicles Are Thoroughly Cleaned And Maintained, A Vehicle Service Attendant Should Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Be Able To Spot Any Areas That May Need Extra Attention.
Physical Stamina And Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: This Job Often Requires Long Periods Of Standing, Walking, And Physical Activity, So Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Work Efficiently In A Fast-Paced Environment.
