  1. Accurately code and abstract medical records for outpatient facilities.
  2. Review medical records and assign appropriate codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services.
  3. Ensure compliance with all coding guidelines and regulations.
  4. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in coding and abstracting processes.
  5. Stay up-to-date with changes in coding guidelines and regulations.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of coding tasks.
  7. Communicate any discrepancies or issues with medical records to appropriate parties.
  8. Work closely with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
  10. Adhere to productivity and quality standards set by the organization.
  11. Participate in coding audits and provide feedback for improvement.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth.
  13. Uphold the organization's mission and values in all job duties.
  14. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely patient care.
  15. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
  16. Follow all organizational policies and procedures related to coding and abstracting.
  17. Act as a resource for other team members and assist with training and onboarding of new coders.
  18. Stay informed about industry trends and changes in healthcare coding practices.

  20. Serve as an advocate for quality healthcare and the organization's mission in the community.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills
