  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients with hematologic disorders and cancers.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Monitor and assess patients' physical and emotional well-being, and update the treatment plans accordingly.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  8. Adhere to evidence-based practice guidelines and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
  9. Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance knowledge and skills in Hematology Oncology.
  10. Serve as a patient advocate and promote their rights and preferences in treatment decisions.
  11. Collaborate with colleagues to identify areas for quality improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care.
  12. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  13. Support the mission and values of Highmark Health in all aspects of the job.

Job Qualifications
  • An Active Registered Nursing License In The State Where The Job Is Located.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In A Hematology Oncology Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field.

  • Certification In Oncology Nursing (Ocn) Or Hematology Nursing (Chn) Preferred.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Multidisciplinary Team.
