Job Description

Highmark Health is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Cyber Incident Responder to join our team! As an integral part of our Cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for responding to and resolving cybersecurity incidents, as well as leading investigations into incidents that may pose a threat to our organization. The ideal candidate has a background in Cybersecurity and Information Technology, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for staying up to date with the latest cyber threat trends. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field• At least 3 years of experience in a security-related field• Experience with vulnerability management, malware analysis, and incident response• Knowledge of network, security, and application protocols• Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python and PowerShell• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment• Strong communication and organization skills

Responsibilities: • Respond to and resolve cybersecurity incidents in a timely manner. • Lead investigations into threats that may affect the organization. • Monitor networks and systems for suspicious activity. • Collaborate with other teams to ensure proper security measures are in place. • Analyze malware and vulnerabilities. • Develop and maintain incident response plans. • Review and update security policies and procedures. • Research and stay up to date on cyber threat trends. • Prepare reports and present findings to senior management. • Monitor security alerts and take appropriate action. • Perform regular security audits and risk assessments. • Provide training and guidance to other team members.
