  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of pharmacy operations within Highmark Health, including but not limited to inventory management, workflow processes, and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of pharmacy services, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of medications to patients.
  3. Lead a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
  4. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare providers to ensure seamless integration of pharmacy services with overall patient care.
  5. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize pharmacy operations.
  6. Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and best practices in pharmacy operations, staying current with advancements in technology and clinical practices.
  7. Act as a liaison between the pharmacy department and other areas of the organization, communicating updates and providing support as needed.
  8. Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to pharmacy operations and patient safety.
  9. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising the quality of patient care.
  10. Foster a culture of patient-centered care and exceptional customer service among pharmacy staff, promoting a positive and welcoming environment for patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Pharmacy Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Pharmacy Operations, Preferably In A Leadership Role.

  • Excellent Communication, Problem-Solving, And Decision-Making Skills.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing A Team And Meeting Operational Goals.
