  1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
  2. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  3. Conduct thorough patient assessments and maintain accurate medical records.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment options.
  6. Monitor and track patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.
  8. Adhere to all medical and legal requirements for patient care.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and enhance clinical skills.

  11. Maintain confidentiality and abide by ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.

  15. Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of departmental goals and objectives.
  16. Stay current on industry developments and advancements in the field of gastroenterology.
  17. Provide support and guidance to other team members, including nurses and support staff.
  18. Maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with physicians and other healthcare providers.
  19. Advocate for patients and their families to ensure their needs are being met.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialty In Gastroenterology (Gi)

  • Active And Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner License In The State Of Employment

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Clinical Experience In Gi Services

  • Certification As A Nurse Practitioner In Gi (E.g. Agpcnp-Bc, Anp-Bc, Etc.)

  • Strong Knowledge Of Gi Diseases, Treatments, And Procedures, As Well As Experience In Performing Diagnostic Tests And Interpreting Results.
