Job Description

Highmark Health is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and patient-focused Outpatient Registered Nurse to join our team. As an Outpatient Registered Nurse, you will provide quality care to our patients in a clinic setting. The ideal candidate will be an experienced healthcare professional with excellent communication, patient assessment, and problem-solving skills. You should also be comfortable working with the elderly and individuals with disabilities. If you have a passion for providing exceptional care and are looking for a rewarding career, we would love to hear from you.Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license • Previous experience in outpatient nursing • Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations governing health care • Ability to multitask and prioritize • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic bedside manner • Understanding of patient privacy regulations (HIPAA)

Responsibilities:

• Provide quality care to patients in a clinic setting • Assess patient needs and develop care plans accordingly • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician • Monitor patient progress and document changes in condition • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed • Communicate effectively with patients and their families • Follow state and federal regulations for healthcare • Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy in accordance with HIPAA • Maintain patient records and administrative duties as needed • Provide compassionate and empathetic care to patients • Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely manner • Work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
