Job Description

Highmark Health seeks a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our physician recruitment team as a Physician Recruiter. We are looking for someone who is passionate about improving access to healthcare and is excited to join a team of professionals dedicated to attracting and retaining the best physicians for our organization.The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, knowledge of provider recruitment, and strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a positive attitude and a commitment to excellence. This individual should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and be able to effectively multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.The Physician Recruiter at Highmark Health will be responsible for working with internal and external stakeholders to plan and implement physician recruitment strategies that support our organization’s goals. This role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare landscape, provider needs, and the ability to develop relationships with providers and leadership teams.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about healthcare and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement physician recruitment strategies that align with Highmark Health's goals.
  2. Utilize knowledge of the healthcare landscape and provider needs to effectively recruit and retain physicians.
  3. Establish and maintain relationships with physicians and leadership teams.
  4. Utilize excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Maintain attention to detail while multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Assist in the development and implementation of physician recruitment initiatives.
  7. Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  8. Monitor and evaluate physician recruitment activities and outcomes.
  9. Utilize strong organizational and problem-solving skills to provide solutions to recruitment challenges.
  10. Provide timely and accurate reports on recruitment activities and results.
