Job Description

At Highmark Health, we are looking for an experienced Provider Enrollment Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical insurance enrollment processes and a passion for helping others.The Provider Enrollment Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely enrollment of providers into Highmark Health’s insurance plans. The successful candidate will need to possess excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as the ability to think critically and problem solve.The ideal candidate will have:• At least 5 years of experience in provider enrollment, medical billing, or related field• Knowledge of medical insurance enrollment processes and regulations• Ability to analyze data and evaluate complex information• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude• Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteIf you have a passion for helping others and a commitment to accuracy and compliance, we invite you to join our team at Highmark Health.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure timely and accurate enrollment of providers into Highmark Health’s insurance plans.
  2. Analyze data and evaluate complex information to ensure accurate and compliant enrollment.
  3. Liaise with providers and other stakeholders to ensure timely enrollment and answer questions or resolve issues.
  4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all regulations and processes related to medical insurance enrollment.
  5. Monitor system performance and identify areas of improvement.
  6. Develop and implement new processes and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  7. Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
  8. Maintain accurate records of all enrollment activities and provide regular progress reports.
  9. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient enrollment.
  10. Provide training and support to team members and other stakeholders as needed.
