Job Description

Highmark Health is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Radiological Engineer to join our team. Our ideal candidate should possess excellent technical, analytical and communication skills, combined with a strong knowledge of all aspects of radiological engineering. The successful candidate will have a passion for developing innovative solutions to complex problems, and a commitment to delivering superior customer service. We are looking for a Radiological Engineer who is a self-starter and can work independently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced in the field of radiology, and have a commitment to excellence.Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Physics, Radiological Engineering, or a related field• 5+ years of experience in a radiological engineering role• Knowledge of radiation protection and safety principles• Experience with medical imaging devices and equipment• Knowledge of medical imaging and radiology techniques• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop innovative solutions to complex radiological engineering problems.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to medical imaging devices and equipment.
  3. Provide technical support to customers and colleagues.
  4. Monitor radiation safety and protection principles.
  5. Develop and maintain radiological engineering standards.
  6. Identify and implement process improvements.
  7. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure timely delivery of customer service.
  8. Research and stay up to date with advancements in radiological engineering.
  9. Prepare reports and documents for management.
  10. Monitor and maintain radiological engineering equipment.
