RN Outpatient - Cardiology Clinic

Highmark Health is looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Outpatient Cardiology Clinic team. This position is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and knowledgeable RN to provide critical care for our patients in a busy, fast-paced setting.The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of cardiology nursing practices, as well as the ability to work closely with a diverse team of specialists. Responsibilities: • Provide compassionate and knowledgeable care to patients in the Outpatient Cardiology Clinic • Ensure patient safety and monitor patient’s health progress • Maintain patient data in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with established standards • Collaborate with a diverse team of specialists to deliver comprehensive care • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians • Educate and counsel patients and families on treatments and self-care • Participate in patient follow-up and discharge planning • Monitor and document the effectiveness of treatments • Follow established protocols and safety standards • Stay abreast of developments in cardiology nursing and healthcare • Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations
