Pier Master

As the Pier Master, you would be responsible for assuring the compliance with safety regulations and enjoyment of pier users in a timely, friendly and efficient manner in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Greet and acknowledge pier users when passing them on the pier. Demonstrate knowledge of local fishing regulations, techniques, and species identification. Knowledge of various tackle for saltwater fishing Provide direction and instruction for safe and enjoyable use of the pier. Provide fishing lessons to pier users in a class style. Ensure fishing facilities are clean and in working order, including but not limited to cleaning stations, trash cans, benches, and shelters. Taking photographs, with permission, of catches on the pier and sending them to the Pier Manager. Assist in conducting inventory and ensure adequate merchandise supply levels related to fishing.
