
Stewarding Supervisor

- Oversee the daily operations of the stewarding department, including managing staff schedules, delegating tasks, and ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train new stewards and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure high-quality performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to support the kitchen and dining operations.
- Communicate effectively with other departments, such as food and beverage and housekeeping, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Address and resolve any guest complaints or concerns regarding cleanliness or service in a prompt and professional manner.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for the stewarding department to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Monitor and control costs to ensure the department operates within budget.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and a strong work ethic among the stewarding team.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, implementing new strategies to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the management team.
Previous Experience In A Supervisory Role: A Stewarding Supervisor At Hilton Hotels Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience In A Supervisory Position, Preferably In A Hospitality Or Food Service Industry.
Knowledge Of Food Safety And Sanitation Standards: As A Stewarding Supervisor, It Is Important To Have A Thorough Understanding Of Food Safety And Sanitation Regulations To Ensure The Cleanliness And Hygiene Of All Kitchen And Dining Areas.
Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Stewards And Communicate With Other Departments Within The Hotel.
Ability To Handle High-Pressure Situations: The Hospitality Industry Can Be Fast-Paced And Demanding, And A Stewarding Supervisor Should Be Able To Handle High-Pressure Situations With Ease And Maintain A Calm And Professional Demeanor.
