At Hines, we are seeking an outgoing and motivated Associate - Land Development to join our team. As an integral part of our Land Development team, you will be responsible for managing a variety of projects and providing support to the Senior Director of Land Development. This role requires a highly organized individual who is an excellent communicator and has the ability to work independently.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of three years of experience in land development, real estate development, urban planning, or a related field. You must be knowledgeable in the areas of zoning, land use, local ordinances, and site selection. You should also have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD.If you are an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional looking to make a positive impact on the Land Development team, then we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Manage a variety of land development projects and provide support to the Senior Director of Land Development.
- Utilize knowledge of zoning, land use, local ordinances, and site selection to complete projects.
- Design and draft plans using AutoCAD or other design software.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet project and organizational goals.
- Remain up-to-date on relevant industry trends and regulations.
- Prepare reports and other documents related to land development projects.
- Participate in meetings and conference calls as needed.
- Research local, state, and federal regulations related to land development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
