Design Intern
Review existing tools and their use cases. Using client engagement as a vehicle, design new tools and/or improve existing ones, for how they may be used in specific moments of customer engagement. Organize results in comprehensive and actionable manner. Communicate design work to stakeholders, receive feedback, and improve on the design. The successful candidate will be part of a small and growing team performing research and design for various solutions for Hitachi and its customers.
Enrollment in a PhD level Design program at a university with an emphasis on design strategy and systems design
Demonstrated ability to apply design methods and strategy in multi-stakeholders open innovation projects
Knowledge of design methods and tools for engaging with clients, project team members and other stakeholders
Prior work experience in an innovation-driven environment a plus.
