  1. Oversee all aspects of the catering and event services at Holiday Inn Hotels.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to ensure exceptional guest experiences and high-quality service.
  3. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent Holiday Inn Hotels positively to clients and guests.
  4. Manage and train a team of catering and event staff to deliver exceptional service and exceed guest expectations.
  5. Collaborate with other departments within the hotel to ensure seamless communication and coordination for events.
  6. Build and maintain relationships with clients and vendors to ensure a successful and memorable event.
  7. Create and manage budgets for events, ensuring profitability for the hotel.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and continuously strive to improve and enhance the catering and event services at the hotel.
  9. Ensure all events and catering services are executed according to company standards and policies.
  10. Handle any guest concerns or issues related to catering and events in a timely and professional manner.
  11. Conduct regular meetings with the team to review performance, set goals, and provide feedback.
  12. Work closely with the sales and marketing team to promote and market catering and event services to potential clients.
  13. Participate in networking events and industry conferences to promote the hotel's catering and event services.
  14. Maintain accurate records and reports of all catering and event activities.
  15. Uphold and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Catering And Event Management: A Successful Director Of Catering And Events At Holiday Inn Hotels Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In The Hospitality Industry, With A Strong Background In Catering And Event Management. This Experience Should Include Planning And Executing Large-Scale Events, Managing Catering Operations, And Developing Creative Menus.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As The Head Of The Catering And Events Department, The Director Should Possess Excellent Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Staff Members. They Should Also Have Exceptional Communication Skills To Interact With Clients, Vendors, And Other Hotel Departments To Ensure Seamless Execution Of Events.

  • Proven Sales And Marketing Abilities: A Director Of Catering And Events Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Driving Sales And Increasing Revenue Through Effective Marketing Strategies. This Includes Developing And Maintaining Relationships With Clients, Identifying New Business Opportunities, And Implementing Successful Sales Tactics.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Catering And Event Industry: To Be Successful In This Role, The Director Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Catering And Event Industry, Including Current Trends, Best Practices, And Industry Standards. They Should Also Be Familiar With Local Vendors And Suppliers To Ensure The Best Quality And Competitive Pricing For Events.

  • Exceptional Organizational And Time Management Skills: Managing Multiple Events And Catering Operations Can Be Hectic And Stressful. The Director Should Be Highly Organized And Have Excellent Time Management Skills To Ensure All Events Are Executed Smoothly And Within Budget. This Includes Overseeing Event Budgets, Negotiating Contracts, And Coordinating With Other Hotel Departments To Ensure All Event Details Are Taken Care Of.
