1. Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
3. Hire, train, and supervise hotel staff, including conducting performance evaluations and addressing any performance issues.
4. Create and maintain a positive work environment for all employees, promoting teamwork and open communication.
5. Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting, to ensure the hotel is meeting financial goals.
6. Ensure compliance with all hotel policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
7. Maintain a high level of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and amenities.
8. Handle guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner, striving to find solutions and ensure guest satisfaction.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other partners to ensure the hotel receives the best products and services at competitive prices.
10. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement strategies to attract and retain guests.
11. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements and new initiatives.
12. Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions to keep employees informed and engaged.
13. Prepare and present reports to upper management on the hotel's performance, including financial, operational, and guest satisfaction metrics.
14. Ensure the hotel is in compliance with all health and safety standards and regulations.
15. Represent the hotel in a professional manner at all times, both within the company and in the community.
