
Occupational Health and Safety Manager

We are currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Health and Safety Manager to join our team and ensure the highest standards of safety are maintained throughout our properties. As the OH&S Manager, you will play a crucial role in creating and implementing policies and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries, as well as promoting a culture of safety within our organization. - Develop and implement occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines for all Holiday Inn Hotels properties
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Collaborate with department managers to identify safety training needs and provide appropriate training and resources to ensure all team members are aware of safety protocols and procedures
- Investigate and analyze accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop strategies to prevent similar occurrences in the future
- Monitor and review safety data and statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to occupational health and safety and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Serve as a liaison with local health and safety authorities and ensure all legal requirements are met
- Implement emergency response plans and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and team members in the event of an emergency
- Organize and lead regular safety meetings to communicate important safety information and promote a culture of safety within the organization
- Collaborate with the Human Resources department to ensure all new team members receive proper safety training and that safety is included in the onboarding process for all new hires.
Knowledge Of Local And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Occupational Health And Safety.
Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Environmental Health, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Hospitality Or Hotel Industry.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Safety Protocols.
Experience In Conducting Risk Assessments, Developing Safety Policies And Procedures, And Managing Safety Programs.
