Occupational Health and Safety Manager

• Develop and implement occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines for all Holiday Inn Hotels properties
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Collaborate with department managers to identify safety training needs and provide appropriate training and resources to ensure all team members are aware of safety protocols and procedures
• Investigate and analyze accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop strategies to prevent similar occurrences in the future
• Monitor and review safety data and statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices and regulations related to occupational health and safety and make recommendations for continuous improvement
• Serve as a liaison with local health and safety authorities and ensure all legal requirements are met
• Implement emergency response plans and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and team members in the event of an emergency
• Organize and lead regular safety meetings to communicate important safety information and promote a culture of safety within the organization
• Collaborate with the Human Resources department to ensure all new team members receive proper safety training and that safety is included in the onboarding process for all new hires.
