We are currently seeking a highly qualified Occupational Health and Safety Manager to join our team and ensure the well-being of our employees and guests. As the Occupational Health and Safety Manager, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving our safety standards, and creating a culture of safety awareness throughout our hotel. We are looking for a dedicated individual with a strong background in occupational health and safety, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting a safe and healthy work environment.   1. Develop and implement comprehensive occupational health and safety policies and procedures for the hotel, in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  3. Collaborate with department managers to identify and address any safety concerns or issues.
  4. Train and educate employees on safety protocols and procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  5. Investigate and report on any accidents, incidents, or near misses, and implement corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
  6. Monitor and review safety data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement proactive measures.
  7. Stay updated on industry developments and best practices in occupational health and safety, and implement relevant changes to enhance safety standards.
  8. Manage the safety budget, including the procurement of necessary equipment and resources.
  9. Serve as the primary point of contact for any safety-related inquiries or concerns from employees, guests, or regulatory agencies.
  10. Foster a culture of safety awareness and accountability throughout the hotel, promoting a safe and healthy work environment for all.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Hospitality Industry

  • Certification In Occupational Health And Safety (Oh&S) Or Related Field (E.g. Cih, Csp, Chst)

  • Excellent Knowledge Of Local And Federal Regulations And Codes Related To Occupational Health And Safety

  • Strong Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Safety Procedures And Protocols.
