Welcome to Holiday Inn Hotels! We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Overnight Front Desk Supervisor. As an integral member of our hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing the front desk operations during the overnight shift.   1. Oversee Front Desk Operations: The Overnight Front Desk Supervisor will be responsible for managing and supervising all front desk operations during the overnight shift.
  2. Ensure Exceptional Customer Service: The primary responsibility of the Overnight Front Desk Supervisor is to ensure that guests receive exceptional customer service during their stay at Holiday Inn Hotels.
  3. Strong Leadership: The successful candidate will be a strong leader with the ability to motivate and guide the front desk team to deliver the best service to our guests.
  4. Handle High-Pressure Situations: The Overnight Front Desk Supervisor must be able to handle high-pressure situations with ease, such as guest complaints or emergencies, and provide prompt and effective solutions.
  5. Train and Develop Front Desk Staff: This role will involve training and developing the front desk staff to ensure they are knowledgeable and capable of providing excellent service to guests.
  6. Monitor and Maintain Guest Satisfaction: The Overnight Front Desk Supervisor will be responsible for monitoring guest satisfaction and addressing any issues or concerns to ensure a positive experience for all guests.
  7. Ensure Smooth Check-In and Check-Out: The Overnight Front Desk Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process for guests, including handling reservations and payments.
  8. Maintain Front Desk Records: This role will require the maintenance and organization of front desk records, including guest information, room availability, and financial transactions.
  9. Collaborate with Other Departments: The Overnight Front Desk Supervisor will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
  10. Uphold Hotel Policies and Procedures: It is the responsibility of the Overnight Front Desk Supervisor to ensure that all hotel policies and procedures are followed and enforced by the front desk team.
  11. Handle Staff Scheduling: This role may involve creating and managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during the overnight shift.
  12. Attend Meetings and Training: The Overnight Front Desk Supervisor will be expected to attend meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and industry standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Supervisory Experience In A Hotel Setting, Preferably In A Front Desk Or Guest Services Role.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Manage And Motivate A Team Of Front Desk Staff.

  • Proficiency In Hotel Management Software And Systems, Including Check-In/Check-Out Procedures, Guest Reservations, And Billing Processes.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Decision-Making Abilities To Handle Guest Complaints And Resolve Issues In A Timely Manner.

  • Flexibility To Work Overnight Shifts And Weekends, As Well As The Ability To Handle High-Pressure Situations In A Fast-Paced Environment.
