  1. Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of guests and team members.
  2. Oversee the daily operations of the hotel's security department and ensure all security protocols are being followed.
  3. Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  4. Train and supervise security personnel, including providing ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure high-quality performance.
  5. Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and housekeeping, to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to security.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date security records and incident reports.
  7. Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services in case of any security-related incidents.
  8. Monitor security cameras and other surveillance systems to identify and address any potential security breaches.
  9. Stay updated on the latest security trends and technologies to continuously improve the hotel's security measures.
  10. Respond quickly and effectively to any security incidents, providing appropriate assistance and support to guests and team members.
  11. Conduct regular training sessions for all hotel employees on security procedures and best practices.
  12. Conduct background checks and screening for all new hires to ensure a safe and secure work environment.
  13. Maintain a strong working relationship with hotel management and regularly communicate any security-related updates or concerns.
  14. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to security.
  15. Act as a role model for the hotel's core values and promote a positive and inclusive work environment for all team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Experience In Security Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Security Management Role, Preferably In A Hospitality Setting. This Demonstrates A Strong Understanding Of Security Protocols And Procedures Specific To The Hotel Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Local Laws And Regulations: A Security Manager At Holiday Inn Hotels Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Local Laws And Regulations Related To Security And Safety. This Includes Knowledge Of Emergency Procedures, Fire Codes, And Health And Safety Regulations.

Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial For Effectively Managing These Relationships.

  • Training And Certification: The Candidate Should Possess Relevant Training And Certifications In Security And Safety Procedures. This Could Include Cpr And First Aid Training, Fire Safety Training, And Security Management Certifications.

  • Attention To Detail And Problem-Solving Skills: A Successful Security Manager Should Be Highly Detail-Oriented And Possess Excellent Problem-Solving Skills.
