As the Security Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, employees, and property.   1. Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to ensure the safety of guests, employees, and property.
  2. Monitor and maintain the physical security of the hotel premises and respond to any security breaches or incidents.
  3. Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential security threats, taking necessary measures to mitigate them.
  4. Train and supervise security staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that security measures are integrated into all hotel operations.
  6. Maintain thorough records and documentation related to security incidents, investigations, and protocols.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in security technology to continuously improve security measures.
  8. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  9. Handle any guest or employee security concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  10. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with local law enforcement and emergency response personnel.
  11. Assist with emergency preparedness and response plans, including evacuations and crisis management.
  12. Participate in hotel safety committee meetings and provide regular updates on security matters.
  13. Monitor and manage the hotel's security budget, making necessary adjustments to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  14. Uphold and promote the hotel's customer service standards, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all guests.
  15. Represent the hotel in a professional manner at all times and uphold its brand standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Security Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Security Management, Including Experience In Developing And Implementing Security Protocols, Conducting Risk Assessments, And Overseeing Security Operations.

  • Knowledge Of Industry Standards And Regulations: A Security Manager At Holiday Inn Hotels Should Be Well-Versed In Relevant Industry Standards And Regulations, Such As Those Set By The American Hotel & Lodging Association (Ah&La) And The Occupational Safety And Health Administration (Osha).

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Leader In The Security Department, The Security Manager Must Possess Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Coordinate With Team Members, Hotel Staff, And Guests In Emergency Situations.

  • Ability To Handle Crisis Situations: The Hospitality Industry Can Be Unpredictable, And A Security Manager Must Be Able To Remain Calm And Make Quick Decisions In High-Stress Situations, Such As During A Security Breach Or Natural Disaster.

  • Strong Problem-Solving And Analytical Skills: The Security Manager Should Have A Strong Ability To Analyze Security Risks And Develop Solutions To Mitigate Them. This Requires Critical Thinking, Attention To Detail, And A Proactive Approach To Security.
