- Train and supervise security staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify any security vulnerabilities and address them accordingly.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and front desk, to ensure a seamless and secure guest experience.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in security technology, and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any security emergencies or incidents.
- Communicate effectively with guests and address any security concerns or inquiries.
- Conduct thorough investigations into any security breaches or incidents and take necessary actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and emergency services.
- Oversee the security budget and ensure resources are allocated effectively.
- Foster a culture of safety and security among all employees.
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Uphold the company's standards and policies related to security and guest safety.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Security Management, Preferably In The Hospitality Industry.
Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws And Regulations Related To Security And Safety.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Interact With Guests And Other Hotel Staff.
Experience In Developing And Implementing Security Policies And Procedures.
Ability To Handle Emergency Situations And Make Quick, Effective Decisions Under Pressure.
