Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Hologic. This individual must have a strong attention to detail and a passion for financial analysis. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and other financial and business-related support. The ideal candidate for this position will have an understanding of accounting principles, financial planning and analysis, and financial reporting. We are looking for someone with excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering accurate results. The Senior Financial Analyst must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 5+ years of financial analysis experience • CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred • Proficiency in financial analysis, including financial modeling and forecasting • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Experience using ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or PeopleSoft) • Highly organized and able to multitask • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
2. Prepare financial plans and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
3. Interpret financial information to identify and forecast potential risks and opportunities.
4. Analyze financial performance of the company and its subsidiaries.
5. Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide recommendations for areas of improvement.
6. Prepare financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
7. Assist in the development of financial policies and procedures.
8. Participate in strategic and operational planning.
9. Utilize ERP systems for financial planning and analysis.
10. Assess financial risks and provide recommendations for risk management.
