Job Description

Hologic is looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes, experience managing a team, and a commitment to delivering results. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about providing ethical and cost-effective procurement services and is capable of driving high performance from their team.The Senior Procurement Manager will be responsible for leading the procurement team, managing the procurement processes, and ensuring that the organization is getting the best value for its money. The successful applicant will have a proven track record of leading procurement teams, have excellent negotiation skills, and be able to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.• At least 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in a senior role.• Demonstrated success in executing strategic sourcing initiatives and leading organizational change.• Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, vendor management software, and purchasing systems.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the procurement team and manage the procurement processes to ensure that the organization is getting the best value for its money.
  2. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure the organization is getting the most cost-effective and ethical services.
  3. Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers.
  4. Monitor and review purchasing activities to ensure they are in compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and cost savings.
  6. Manage vendor performance and ensure timely delivery of products and services.
  7. Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure the organization is getting the best value for its money.
  8. Analyze pricing trends and market conditions to ensure the organization is taking advantage of the best deals.
  9. Provide guidance and assistance to the team on procurement processes and procedures.
  10. Supervise and evaluate team performance to ensure the team is meeting targets.
