Plastics Engineer
Support plant and PO Department Initiatives, business plan, and new model activities to achieve set targets. Ensure PO department equipment is operating to meet targets (cycle, scrap, quality, etc). Lead problem solving efforts to determine root cause, develop countermeasures, and ensure implementation. Understand and routinely communicate project and business plan items to internal and external management. Lead activity to continually improve department characteristics. Collaborate between Plastics (PO) and Paint (PA) to ensure project targets are met. Provide technical support, line management, and associate training and development. Identify ongoing production issues and develop themes to improve.
3 months co-op/internship preferably with injection molding and processing.
Ability to review and understand impact/improvements to department characteristics.
Understanding of mechanical/electrical system knowledge (pneumatic, hydraulic, electromechanical, etc)
