- Develop and implement advanced welding techniques to improve efficiency and quality in manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement welding solutions for new products and processes.
- Conduct research and analysis to identify potential areas for improvement and innovation in welding processes.
- Lead and mentor junior engineers and technicians in welding techniques and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards in regards to welding processes.
- Monitor and analyze welding data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and trends in welding technology and integrate them into company practices.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to select and acquire the most suitable welding equipment and materials.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production teams to troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues.
- Develop and maintain welding standards and procedures to ensure consistency and quality across all manufacturing processes.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure weldability and manufacturability of new products.
- Communicate with customers and participate in customer meetings to discuss welding solutions and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to conduct weld inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor and control welding costs to ensure cost-effective production without compromising on quality.
Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 8 Years Experience In A Welding Engineering Role, Preferably In An Advanced Manufacturing Environment.
Extensive Knowledge Of Welding Processes, Including Gas Metal Arc Welding (Gmaw), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (Gtaw), And Resistance Welding.
Strong Understanding Of Metallurgy And The Ability To Develop And Implement Welding Procedures For Various Materials, Such As Steel, Aluminum, And Titanium.
Demonstrated Experience In Project Management, Including The Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Welding Engineers And Technicians.
