  1. Conduct research and analysis on trademarks and copyrights to support the legal team in making important decisions for the company.
  2. Assist in the preparation and filing of trademark and copyright applications, including responding to office actions and maintaining trademark registrations.
  3. Manage and maintain trademark database, tracking deadlines and ensuring timely renewal of registrations.
  4. Review and analyze trademark search reports to identify potential conflicts and present recommendations to the legal team.
  5. Coordinate with outside counsel and government agencies to handle trademark and copyright matters.
  6. Draft and review legal documents, including cease and desist letters, licensing agreements, and other contracts related to intellectual property.
  7. Monitor and enforce the company's trademark and copyright usage guidelines.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with trademark and copyright laws.
  9. Conduct internal trainings to educate employees on trademark and copyright best practices.
  10. Stay updated on changes in trademark and copyright laws and provide recommendations to the legal team on how to adapt to these changes.
  11. Maintain accurate and organized records of all trademark and copyright matters.
  12. Assist in the preparation of budget and expense reports related to trademark and copyright matters.
  13. Communicate with international trademark offices and manage international trademark portfolios.
  14. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining filing systems.
  15. Uphold a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive company information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Paralegal Studies Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Trademark Law, Preferably At A Law Firm Or In-House Legal Department

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Trademark Laws, Regulations, And Procedures

  • Excellent Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail

  • Experience With Trademark Docketing And Management Software, Such As Cpi Or Anaqua
