Job Description

Honeywell is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Vice President of Procurement Operations to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of procurement operations, including strategic sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and contract negotiations. As a key leader within our organization, you will play a critical role in driving cost savings, improving supply chain efficiency, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, proven leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.   1. Oversee all aspects of procurement operations, including strategic sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and contract negotiations.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to drive cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
  3. Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices for procurement processes.
  5. Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
  6. Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential risks and opportunities for the organization.
  7. Develop and manage procurement budgets and track and report on departmental performance.
  8. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all procurement activities.
  9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes and procedures.
  10. Communicate effectively with senior leadership to provide updates on procurement operations and performance.
  11. Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations related to procurement and ensure compliance.
  12. Represent the company in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  13. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to identify areas for improvement and drive accountability.
  14. Stay updated on industry best practices and implement them to enhance procurement operations.
  15. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and align procurement activities accordingly.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Procurement Operations: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Procurement Operations, With A Proven Track Record Of Managing Complex Procurement Processes And Delivering Measurable Results.

They Should Be Able To Identify Areas For Improvement And Implement Strategies To Optimize Procurement Processes, Reduce Costs, And Increase Efficiency.

  • Strategic Thinking And Decision-Making Abilities: The Vp Of Procurement Operations Will Be Responsible For Developing And Implementing Procurement Strategies That Align With The Company's Overall Goals And Objectives. Therefore, The Candidate Should Possess Strong Strategic Thinking And Decision-Making Skills, With The Ability To Analyze Data And Make Informed Decisions.
