Job Description

The Houston Methodist Clinical Research Fellowship Program is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Clinical Research Fellow. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a rapidly growing clinical research program dedicated to improving patient care. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical research, experience in clinical research administration, and be passionate about being part of a dynamic team. Required Qualifications include:• Doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field• Previous experience in clinical research, preferably in an academic setting• Excellent organizational and communication skills• Ability to work independently and collaboratively• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks• Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines for clinical research

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and lead clinical research projects in collaboration with the Houston Methodist Clinical Research Fellowship Program team.
  2. Supervise and mentor junior members of the team, providing guidance in data analysis and study design.
  3. Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks, ensuring that deadlines are met and that quality standards are maintained.
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines for clinical research.
  5. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all clinical research projects.
  6. Prepare reports and presentations to present project findings to stakeholders.
  7. Network with other researchers and attend conferences and meetings to stay up to date with the latest advances in clinical research.
  8. Ensure safe and ethical conduct of all research activities.
  9. Participate in the evaluation and review of research proposals.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and other research institutions.
