Are you ready to start your journey towards becoming a coding expert? Houston Methodist is seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Coding Apprentice. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced healthcare environment while gaining hands-on experience in coding and billing procedures.   1. Learn and understand coding and billing procedures within a healthcare environment.
  2. Participate in training and educational programs to develop coding skills.
  3. Collaborate with coding team members to complete coding projects accurately and efficiently.
  4. Follow coding guidelines and regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  5. Review patient records and documentation to accurately assign codes.
  6. Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and coding discrepancies.

Job Qualifications
  • Strong Knowledge Of Coding Languages: A Successful Coding Apprentice At Houston Methodist Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Coding Languages Such As Java, Python, C++, And Html. This Knowledge Will Be Essential For Creating And Maintaining Efficient And Accurate Coding Systems.
