Director, Research Operations

Houston Methodist is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director, Research Operations to join our research team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker and have a passion for research operations management.The Director, Research Operations will be responsible for designing and implementing research operational policies and procedures to facilitate research operations across all Houston Methodist research sites. This includes developing and implementing systems and processes to improve research operations, ensuring high quality standards, and managing research operations personnel. In addition, the Director, Research Operations will be responsible for managing the research operations budget and will be expected to provide data and analytics to support decision-making.The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, a minimum of 10 years of research operations experience, and a strong track record of managing complex projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to achieving results. In addition, the candidate should have a strong customer service orientation and be able to work collaboratively with a diverse group of stakeholders.
