As an integral member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting with the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions.   1. Conduct EMG tests on patients to assist with the diagnosis and treatment of neurological conditions.
  2. Ensure accurate and reliable test results by following established protocols and procedures.
  3. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  4. Maintain and calibrate equipment used for EMG testing to ensure accuracy and safety.
  5. Educate patients and their families on the purpose and process of EMG testing.
  6. Document and record test results and patient information accurately and efficiently.
  7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean testing environment.
  8. Monitor patient comfort and respond to any questions or concerns during the testing process.
  9. Assist with the training and supervision of new EMG Technologists.
  10. Stay current on advancements and developments in EMG testing and attend continuing education opportunities as needed.
  11. Provide exceptional customer service and uphold the organization's standards of patient care.
  12. Collaborate with the scheduling team to ensure efficient and timely scheduling of EMG tests.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines.
  14. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the Neurology department.
  15. Follow departmental and hospital policies and procedures to maintain a safe and professional work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Neurodiagnostic Technology Or A Related Field.

  • Certification As A Registered Electrodiagnostic Technologist (Aset Or Abret).

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Performing Emg And Nerve Conduction Studies.

  • Proficiency In Interpreting And Reporting Emg And Nerve Conduction Results.

  • Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Neurology Department.
