EMT Paramedic

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate EMT Paramedic to join Houston Methodist's Emergency Department. This position requires a self-driven individual to provide high-quality patient care while managing a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should be a highly organized professional with a commitment to excellence and a strong ability to work well with diverse teams.To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma and EMT-Paramedic certification, as well as a valid driver's license. Preference will be given to candidates who have previous experience in EMS and/or hospital emergency departments. Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment

• Work collaboratively with diverse teams to provide excellent patient care • Assess patient condition and administer appropriate medical treatment • Follow physician orders and comply with department policies and procedures • Perform and document patient assessment, treatments, and medication administration • Respond to emergency, medical, and trauma calls • Provide basic life support, advanced cardiac life support, and other interventions as necessary • Monitor patient vitals and document changes in condition • Maintain patient comfort, safety, and privacy • Utilize medical equipment and supplies appropriately • Document patient care services and provide reports to the attending physician • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to HIPAA regulations • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and standards
