As a Gift Shop Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and representing our organization to the community.   1. Provide exceptional customer service to all gift shop customers, including greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and handling complaints or concerns.
  2. Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the gift shop, ensuring all customers feel valued and appreciated.
  3. Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times, promoting the brand and values of Houston Methodist.
  4. Utilize knowledge of products and services to make recommendations and assist customers in finding the perfect gift.
  5. Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit cards, and electronic payments.
  6. Keep the gift shop clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times, including restocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels.
  7. Assist with merchandising and creating attractive displays to showcase products and drive sales.
  8. Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure a seamless and efficient operation of the gift shop.
  9. Stay up-to-date on new products, promotions, and sales strategies in order to effectively communicate and promote them to customers.
  10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including cash handling, customer service, and dress code.
  11. Maintain accurate and organized records, including tracking sales and inventory levels, and reporting any discrepancies or issues to management.
  12. Continuously seek ways to improve the gift shop experience for customers, including suggesting new products or services.
  13. Attend training and development sessions to enhance customer service skills and product knowledge.
  14. Assist in other duties as assigned by management.
