Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Occupational Health RN to join the Houston Methodist team and provide exceptional care for all patients. As an Occupational Health RN, you will be responsible for providing on-site health services for all employees, with an emphasis on prevention and wellness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, be detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, a current Texas RN License, and at least three years of clinical experience in Occupational Health or a related field. You must be certified in CPR/BLS, and have experience administering vaccines, TB testing, and other medical assessments. Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations is preferred.The successful candidate will be a team player who is committed to providing top-notch patient care and promoting a healthy work environment. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide on-site health services for all employees, with an emphasis on prevention and wellness.
  2. Administer vaccines, TB testing, and other medical assessments.
  3. Maintain patient records and documents in accordance with federal and state regulations.
  4. Monitor employee health trends and recommend preventive measures.
  5. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
  6. Act as a resource for workers and employers regarding health and safety concerns.
  7. Provide education and training for employees on health and safety topics.
  8. Support employee return-to-work programs.
  9. Conduct pre-employment physicals.
  10. Communicate effectively with physicians, employers, and employees.

Job Qualifications
