Job Description

Houston Methodist is looking for a dedicated and motivated Operations Administrator to join our team and ensure the smooth and efficient operations of our hospital. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. If you are a team player with a commitment to providing the highest quality of care to patients, we want to hear from you!To be considered for this position, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field, and at least two years of experience in the healthcare field. You must also have experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and laws is also required.We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing the best possible service to our patients and is committed to providing the highest quality of care. Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the hospital.
  2. Manage and coordinate the daily administrative activities of the hospital.
  3. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  4. Monitor and review operational performance and take corrective action as necessary.
  5. Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and laws.
  6. Maintain up-to-date records of operational performance.
  7. Serve as a liaison between hospital staff, patients, and the public.
  8. Respond to patient inquiries and complaints.
  9. Prepare and present reports to hospital leaders.
  10. Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare industry partners.
  11. Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  12. Utilize Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to complete tasks.
