Houston Methodist is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Respiratory Services Student to join our patient care team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing quality care to our patients, as well as helping to maintain the professional reputation of Houston Methodist.We are looking for a candidate who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and who is committed to providing excellent customer service to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as current certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC). Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in providing quality care for patients in the Respiratory Services department.
  2. Maintain a professional reputation of Houston Methodist.
  3. Provide excellent customer service to patients.
  4. Maintain current certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  5. Work both independently and as part of a team.
  6. Demonstrate commitment to providing the highest standard of care.
  7. Follow all health and safety protocols for the department.
  8. Maintain accurate patient records and other related documentation.
  9. Assist in training and mentoring of new staff, as required.
  10. Follow all hospital policies and procedures.
