Job Description

At Houston Methodist, we are looking for an experienced Revenue Cycle Analyst to join our team. As a Revenue Cycle Analyst, you will be responsible for providing operational and analytical support of the Revenue Cycle processes. You will use your expertise to identify and resolve operational problems, review financial performance, and recommend improvements.We require a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, as well as at least three years of experience in a healthcare revenue cycle setting. In addition, you should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and be detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.At Houston Methodist, we strive to provide our staff with a work environment that is both collaborative and rewarding. Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze and evaluate revenue cycle processes for potential improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  2. Research and troubleshoot operational problems related to the revenue cycle.
  3. Monitor and review financial performance to identify areas of improvement.
  4. Prepare and present financial and operational reports to management.
  5. Develop and implement procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure that revenue cycle processes are optimized.
  7. Train and mentor staff in the use of revenue cycle systems and processes.
  8. Provide technical support to staff in the use of revenue cycle systems.
  9. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data in the revenue cycle system.
  10. Monitor and review revenue cycle activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
