Senior Media Relations Specialist

As a Senior Media Relations Specialist at Houston Methodist, you will play an essential role in helping us create and maintain relationships with the media. You will work closely with leadership and the media relations team to develop and execute communication strategies. We are looking for a seasoned professional with strong media relations skills and the ability to think strategically and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in media relations or communications. You must have a track record of effectively managing media interactions, pitching stories, and working with executives to craft effective messages.
