Job Description

Are you an experienced and passionate Senior Wellness Dietitian looking to join a world-class team? Houston Methodist is seeking a dynamic and collaborative individual to join our team and help lead our nutrition health and wellness initiatives. As a Senior Wellness Dietitian at Houston Methodist, you will be a key member of our nutrition team, providing expertise and support to our patients, and delivering comprehensive nutrition education and counseling.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and possess the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. A commitment to providing quality care and the ability to work independently are required. Additionally, the Senior Wellness Dietitian must possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to adapt to a changing environment. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about nutrition and health, and who will bring their enthusiasm and insights to our team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide comprehensive nutrition education and counseling to patients.
  2. Develop and implement nutrition health and wellness initiatives.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care for patients.
  4. Manage patient records and documentation.
  5. Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to healthcare team.
  6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current nutrition trends and best practices.
  7. Create and manage nutrition programs for patients.
  8. Educate patients on healthy eating habits and lifestyles.
  9. Develop and present nutrition education materials.
  10. Participate in research projects related to nutrition and health.
