Supervisor, Supply Chain Logistics

We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Supervisor, Supply Chain Logistics at Houston Methodist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Supply Chain Logistics Department, ensuring that all processes are optimized for cost savings, quality, and service excellence. You will act as a critical leader within the organization, overseeing the processes, personnel, and performance of the entire department.To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field and at least 5 years of experience in a supply chain/logistics environment. You should have excellent organizational and problem-solving skills and be knowledgeable of industry trends. Responsibilities:

1. Supervise day-to-day operations of the Supply Chain Logistics Department, ensuring processes are optimized for cost savings, quality, and service excellence.

3. Develop and implement strategies for process improvement and cost savings.
4. Monitor department performance metrics and recommend changes as needed.
5. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
6. Provide guidance and support to department personnel.
7. Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
8. Train and mentor staff on new processes and procedures.
9. Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products.
10. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
