Ultrasound Technologist

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join the team at Houston Methodist. Our Ultrasound Technologists are an integral part of our patient care team, providing high-quality ultrasound images and helping to diagnose and treat patient conditions. The ideal candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a high degree of accuracy and precision when performing ultrasound procedures. A Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification is strongly preferred, and at least 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinic setting is required. Responsibilities:

1. Perform ultrasound procedures with accuracy and precision.
2. Provide high-quality ultrasound images for diagnosis and treatment of patient conditions.
3. Utilize strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff.
4. Follow all safety and compliance requirements and regulations.
5. Maintain and update patient records as necessary.
6. Ensure patient comfort and privacy during ultrasounds.
7. Assist with the training and development of new ultrasound technologists.
8. Document findings and results of ultrasounds accurately in patient records.
9. Stay current with advances in ultrasound technology and techniques.
10. Maintain a clean and organized ultrasound suite.
