Job Description

Houston Methodist is looking for an enthusiastic Wellness Coordinator to join our team. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about promoting health and well-being and is committed to providing our patients with the best possible care. The Wellness Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote healthy lifestyles for our patients and employees. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as an in-depth understanding of health and wellness topics. Most importantly, you should have a strong sense of compassion and commitment to helping others. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement health and wellness strategies for both patients and employees.
  2. Create educational materials on health and wellness topics.
  3. Create and maintain a wellness program to promote healthy lifestyles.
  4. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the program.
  5. Engage in outreach activities to promote the program and educate the public.
  6. Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients.
  7. Develop and deliver health seminars and workshops.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with health and wellness providers.
  9. Provide guidance and support to patients in making healthy lifestyle choices.
  10. Maintain accurate records and documentation of program activities.
