Logistics Coordinator

Responsibilities:

1. Manage the day-to-day operations of the logistics function, including overseeing inventory, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.
2. Coordinate with suppliers, shippers, and customers to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of goods.
3. Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
4. Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline and improve the logistics process.
5. Negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers for the best rates and terms.
6. Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
7. Develop and manage relationships with suppliers, shippers, and customers.
8. Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective execution of logistics activities.
9. Troubleshoot and resolve any logistics-related issues or problems.
10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
