  1. Oversee all aspects of banquets and events, including planning, execution, and follow-up.
  2. Develop and implement creative and innovative ideas to enhance the guest experience.
  3. Manage and lead a team of banquet staff to ensure efficient and seamless execution of events.
  4. Collaborate with other departments, such as catering and sales, to ensure a cohesive and successful event.
  5. Set and maintain high standards for service and quality, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  6. Create and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and maximizing profitability.
  7. Conduct regular training and development sessions for banquet staff to continuously improve service delivery.
  8. Maintain inventory and order supplies necessary for events.
  9. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their event needs and provide personalized service.
  10. Handle guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
  11. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  12. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the banquet experience for guests.
  13. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote and market events to potential guests.
  14. Prepare event reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
  15. Attend and actively participate in staff meetings and other relevant events.
  16. Uphold and promote the company's values and policies while representing the brand.
  17. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment for all team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Event Planning And Management: A Banquets Manager At Hyatt Must Have A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Planning And Executing Events, From Small Meetings To Large-Scale Banquet Functions. This Includes Experience In Menu Planning, Room Setup, And Coordination With Various Departments To Ensure A Smooth And Successful Event.

  • Strong Leadership And Organizational Skills: As A Banquets Manager, One Must Be Able To Lead And Motivate A Team Of Banquet Staff To Deliver Exceptional Service. This Requires Excellent Organizational Skills To Handle Multiple Events At Once And Ensure All Details Are Attended To.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Banquets Manager Must Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Clients, Vendors, And Staff To Ensure All Event Details Are Understood And Executed According To The Client's Expectations. This Also Includes Resolving Any Issues That May Arise During An Event.

  • Knowledge Of Food And Beverage Operations: A Banquets Manager Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Food And Beverage Operations, Including Menu Planning, Food And Beverage Cost Control, And Inventory Management. This Ensures That Events Are Executed Within Budget And To The Highest Quality Standards.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Events At Hyatt Can Be Fast-Paced And Dynamic, Requiring The Banquets Manager To Be Able To Think Quickly And Make Decisions Under Pressure. This Requires A High Level Of Adaptability And The Ability To Handle Unexpected Challenges That May Arise During An Event.
