We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Event Sales and Planning Manager to join our team and help us create unforgettable experiences for our guests.As an Event Sales and Planning Manager at Hyatt, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning, from initial client inquiries to post-event follow-up. You will use your exceptional sales skills and attention to detail to ensure that every event, whether it be a wedding, conference, or social gathering, is executed flawlessly.To excel in this role, you must have previous experience in event sales and planning, a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, and excellent communication and organizational skills.   1. Develop and maintain relationships with clients and vendors to generate new business and drive event sales.
  2. Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing detailed information about event options, pricing, and availability.
  3. Conduct tours of event spaces and hotel accommodations to showcase the Hyatt brand and provide clients with an exceptional experience.
  4. Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and preferences, and work to create customized and personalized event plans.
  5. Create and manage event budgets, ensuring that all expenses are accounted for and within the client’s budget.
  6. Coordinate with various departments within the hotel to ensure all event details are executed flawlessly, including food and beverage, audiovisual, and guest room accommodations.
  7. Communicate regularly with clients throughout the planning process to provide updates and address any changes or concerns.
  8. Anticipate and troubleshoot potential issues during events, finding creative solutions to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for clients and guests.
  9. Conduct post-event follow-up to gather feedback and address any issues or concerns.
  10. Stay informed about industry trends and changes, and make recommendations to management to enhance the event experience at Hyatt.
  11. Participate in sales meetings and training programs to continuously improve sales skills and knowledge of Hyatt’s offerings.
  12. Ensure all events are in compliance with Hyatt’s standards and policies.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized event records and reports for future reference.
  14. Act as an ambassador for the Hyatt brand, promoting our exceptional service and luxurious accommodations to potential clients and guests.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Event Sales And Planning, Preferably In A Luxury Hotel Or Resort Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management, Business, Or Related Field.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Planning And Executing Large-Scale Events With A High Level Of Attention To Detail.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Strong Relationships With Clients And Vendors.

  • Proficiency In Event Management Software And Technology, As Well As Strong Organizational And Time Management Skills.
