- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive event bookings and revenue for the property.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and industry partners to increase event sales opportunities.
- Conduct market research and stay up-to-date on industry trends to identify potential new business opportunities.
- Respond promptly and professionally to event inquiries and provide clients with detailed proposals and quotes.
- Collaborate with the event planning team to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.
- Attend networking events, trade shows, and other industry events to promote the property and generate leads.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure profitability for the property.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective promotional campaigns for events.
- Monitor event budgets and provide regular reports to management on sales performance and revenue.
- Ensure that all events meet or exceed client expectations by providing exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
- Stay informed on the latest event planning technologies and make recommendations for their implementation.
- Train and mentor sales and event planning team members to enhance their skills and improve overall performance.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Represent the property in a professional and positive manner at all times.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Hyatt, promoting our values and commitment to excellence in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
Strong Interpersonal And Communication Skills
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Event Sales And Planning, Preferably In A Luxury Hotel Setting
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Executing Large-Scale Events
Knowledge Of Event Industry Trends, Budget Management, And Contract Negotiations.
