- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue and meet event sales targets.
- Identify potential clients and build relationships through networking and outreach efforts.
- Proactively respond to and follow up on all event inquiries and leads.
- Conduct site visits and effectively communicate event options and packages to clients.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event needs and provide creative solutions to exceed expectations.
- Manage the event planning process from start to finish, including coordinating with internal departments and external vendors.
- Ensure all event details are accurately communicated and executed according to client expectations.
- Monitor event budget and make adjustments as needed to meet financial goals.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor offerings to ensure Hyatt remains competitive in the event market.
- Prepare and present event proposals and contracts to clients.
- Oversee event execution and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Maintain detailed event records and complete post-event reports.
- Train and mentor event sales and planning team members.
- Adhere to all company and industry regulations and standards.
- Represent Hyatt at industry events and conferences.
- Continuously seek out new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients.
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop and implement event marketing strategies.
- Uphold the Hyatt brand and reputation through exceptional customer service and professionalism.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Hospitality Management Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Event Sales And Planning, Preferably At A Luxury Hotel Or Resort.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Clients, Vendors, And Team Members.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Executing Large-Scale Events.
Knowledge Of Event Industry Trends, Technology, And Best Practices, With The Ability To Innovate And Adapt To Changing Market Conditions.
